Frozen Banana Pops

Ingredients
  • 8 popsicle sticks
  • 4 bananas
  • 2 cups semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips
  • ½ cup or an assortment of the following:
  • chopped peanuts or walnuts
  • toasted coconut
  • sprinkles
Instructions
  1. Peel the bananas and cut them in ½. Stick them on the popsicle sticks.
  2. Prepare toppings by scattering them on a plate.
  3. Melt 1 cup of the chocolate chips in a double boiler or a homemade version like the one above, simmering on low.
  4. Coat the banana by dipping it in the melted chocolate and wrapping or spooning the chocolate around the banana with a spatula.
  5. Roll the chocolate coated banana in the topping of your choice.
  6. Place it on a baking sheet and freeze for 2 hours or over night.
